As you can see, the Snapdragon 835 is well below the current Intel processors, with performances pratically 5 times less in multi-core and 2.5 times less in single core. But the Qualcomm chip is catching up well its “gap” since it is already above the Intel processors of 2008-2009.
The chip build is set at 10 nm (14 nm for the latest Intel processors) and IBM has already announced to be able to burn transistors in 5 nm. Also Qualcomm announced that the company wanted to produce computer processors (laptop in a first time). The Snapdragon 835 is currently able to run Windows 10 without lag. It can therefore be said that the brand will soon compete Intel, whose technical progress has greatly decreased in recent years due to the absence of AMD.
