Invalid credentials on Skrill

If you get the following message:

Invalid credentials

When you try to log in to Skrill and it’s been more than six months since you logged in, then be aware that your account has been terminated and your money has been confiscated as an inactive fee, regardless how much, whether you had 1 cent or 1 million dollars. Skrill uses unethical methods to limit sleepy accounts. There is no warning, your account is frozen overnight without the possibility to cancel this action and go back.

If you contact support by phone, whether it is the English or international phone number, you will get a message that this number is no longer operational.

If you contact support by email skrill@skrill.com or merchantservices@skrill.com for merchant accounts, you will have these answers:

Dear sir,

Thank you for your e-mail.

In terms of investigating this issue for you we would like to inform you that your account has been terminated due to inactivity.

For technical purposes, we are not in the position to reopen the account in question

We advise you to create a new personal account with an alternative email address and you will not be charged with receive money fees. However, if you intend to use it for commercial use, please apply for a new merchant account on our site at https://signup.skrill.com/business/#/contact?lang=EN

After checking your account we would like to inform you that you have a commercial account in our system and the amount in question was deducted as an Inactivity fee following point 9.2 from our Merchant Terms and Conditions.

Please note that the fee is strictly deducted from your Skrill balance, if the account was not used for a period of 180 days (6 months), and we do not charge any fees from your registered cards or bank accounts. Have in mind that once your account is down to 0.00 no more fees will be deducted.
