It is clear that the Hyperloop One evolves quickly. It is gone from 70 mph two months ago to 190 mph.
A test was carried out over a distance of 1,400 feet with success. The engineers think that if the section was enlarged and the test was made over 6,500 feet, the length would be large enough to allow Hyperloop One to reach 620 mph.
As a reminder, the goal is to reach 770 mph in a vacuum tube, with magnetic levitation. For now, it is only a trolley, it is still necessary to be able to repeat this speed record with a real pod.
Hyperloop One always has 2021 in sight for a first commissioning.
