There were at least 9 million war-related deaths during antiquity. This represents 4.5% of the human population in the year 450.

The greatest war was the Gallic Wars.

It was the Romans who were most involved in the war through their conquests. Followed by the Chinese who made little quarters to their opponents after a victory.
