Evolution of the world population from -100 000 to -3000

The world’s population in ancient times begin to flourish during the ice melting of the last ice age, and then when humans began to formed agglomerations, villages, and cities. The first city in the world was Uruk in Mesopotamia.

Then comes the golden age of Sumer (4th millennium BC) until the appearance of the pharaohs with the Zero Dynasty (-3200 BC).
