The thermal flame includes all the energies that burn (oil, coal, gas, nuclear, wood, …).

Fossil energies: all energies that use limited resources.

Renewable energies: all green energies (wind, solar, tidal, hydraulic, wood, …).

What we see is that renewable energies are at the same level as fossil fuels. Of course they produce far less electricity.

Coal remains the leading energy for generating electricity on Earth. Followed by hydroelectric, gas, solar, wind, nuclear, wood.
