Cron error message with Sendmail

If you get this message:

Cron <smmsp@vpsXXXXXX> test -x /etc/init.d/sendmail &&
/usr/share/sendmail/sendmail cron-msp
/usr/share/sendmail/sendmail: 899: /usr/share/sendmail/sendmail:
/usr/sbin/sendmail-msp: not found

This certainly means that you have two modules to send mails and that one of them generates problems. Here it is Sendmail while Postfix is used by default. We must then delete in its totality the one that has become useless:

sudo apt-get purge sendmail sendmail-bin
