DPI = dots per inch, CPI: counts per inch. This is the sensitivity of the mouse. The real term for the mouse is CPI. But we often see written DPI, which comes from the world of printers because this denomination is more known, it is used for its marketing side. Finally it’s the same thing. CPI = DPI = CPI. IPS: inch per second for tracking speed. The higher the sensitivity, the better.
It is better to opt for a light mouse to reduce the pain in the handle, facilitate its movement. Also a mouse that has a strong sensitivity to not see it pedal in vain. Unless you handle the mouse a little, it is better that it is connected by wire because the wireless mouse is emptied in less than one hour if the activity is sustained. However some mice have real batteries that can last for days. However if you just want to stream videos from your couch, then wireless is the most suitable. Note that in general, less the mouse is recent and more noisy is the click, it is not always true of course.
