AMD Ryzen CPUs performance per watt

Here is a ranking of the AMD Ryzen processors by “energy efficiency”. We look at the average performance on the last 250 results on Geekbench 4 and divide it by the TDP (Thermal Design Power) that we consider as the high electricity consumption average, which is wrong since the tests often show that the maximum consumption is often much higher than the one of the TDP and consumption in idle (at rest) is often only 15-20W. But it still gives a good idea of average consumption using advanced applications.

We note that the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor is just unbeatable. While the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X is by far the least interesting.
