AMD Ryzen 7 2700X vs Intel Core i7-8086K on Geekbench 4

Tested AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and Intel Core i7-8086K processors with results in terms of single-core and multi-core. We use for this the famous software with various benchmarks, ie Geekbench 4. This is an average of the last 250 results.

We see that in multi-core, the AMD processor is not very far away. But alas, in terms of single core, the difference is terrible. It will take 3 generations for AMD to fill the gap. So it will be necessary to wait for Zen 3 in order that AMD be able to fight with its historical competitor. However the jump with the previous generations of AMD processors remains extraordinary.
